Why Become a Member of Wolfe Tones na Sionna?

The GAA is the largest sporting organisation in Ireland and one of the greatest community forces in the country. Becoming a member of a GAA club means more than joining a team — it means joining a family. Here in our town, we are proud to call Wolfe Tones na Sionna that family: a vibrant, inclusive “One Club” that promotes and supports Hurling, Camogie, Gaelic Football and Ladies Football equally.

As a full member, you’re officially registered with Croke Park and part of one of Ireland’s most historic sporting organisations.

Our juvenile members gain so much more than sporting skills. Through participation in our games, they develop confidence, social skills, physical ability, teamwork, resilience — and friendships that can last a lifetime.

Full Members can enjoy a wide range of subsidised benefits, including:

Members involved in coaching can access GAA coaching courses free of charge, including Safeguarding and First Aid training.

Full Members have voting rights at the AGM, giving you a voice in how our club is run and how our future is shaped.

Members who provide an email address will receive regular updates on club news, events, fixtures and results.

Playing members are covered under the appropriate GAA Injury Benefit Fund (GAA / LGFA / Camogie).

Full Members are eligible to apply for Clare intercounty championship tickets — including All-Ireland Finals. While high demand can limit availability, the club always works to accommodate as many requests as possible.

Social Membership is perfect for those who want to enjoy our bar facilities but aren’t involved in playing, coaching, mentoring or wider club activities.
Please note: Social Members do not have AGM voting rights, gym access, club email updates or eligibility to request intercounty match tickets.
